Within the framework of the growing interest in the human element and its importance to the tourism sector, Hossam Al-Shaer, President of the Egyptian Federation of Tourism Chambers, held a meeting to discuss the training system in the sector in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, in the presence of Dr. Suha Bahgat, Advisor to the Minister for Training. The meeting was also attended by Mohamed Ayoub, Chairman of the Chamber of Hotel Establishments, Adham Garana and Wael Abu Al-Saud, members of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Yasser Al-Tajouri, Chairman of the Chamber of Tourist Establishments and Restaurants, Ayman Abdel-Baqi, Hisham Wahba, members of the Chamber, Mustafa Hefny, Chairman of the Chamber of Diving Tourism and Marine Activities, Haitham Arafa, member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Travel and Tourism Companies and Agencies, and Bassem Rizk, member of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Shops Selling Goods and Tourist Goods.
Al-Shaer began the meeting by talking about the importance of training workers in the tourism sector, especially in light of the desired increase in capacity, explaining that there is complete compatibility in this regard between the orientation of Mr. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, and between the Federation and the Chambers of Tourism, and the importance of unifying efforts in working on training and raising the level of labor in proportion to Egypt's tourist status and in line with the level of tourist expectations of services.
